Campus Environment and Operations

Business and Supply

Stockroom

The Campus Environment and Operations’ stockroom maintains an inventory of over 5,600 items. These items are used by Campus Environment and Operations' personnel and other campus departments to maintain the Kent State University main campus. Inventory is managed by utilizing a computerized inventory database which is continuously updated to ensure that material is available for routine and emergency maintenance.

The computerized inventory database now features an online catalog with terminals located at the parts window as well as offering the capability for individual Campus Environment and Operations’ personnel to access this information directly from their work areas. The online catalog is linked directly to the inventory database offering an up-to-date parts listing with photos of each item for easy part identification by the technicians.
