General Services

Structures is comprised of carpenters, painters, glaziers, and masons.

The Carpentry Shop is responsible for the repair and replacement of drywall, countertops, ceiling tiles, and window shades. Door installation and repair, custom cabinet making, and minor remodeling are also services provided by the carpenters, as is the maintenance of handicapped door closers.

In addition to painting building interiors and exteriors around campus, the painters perform services such as exterior power washing, staining and sealing doors and door frames, faux finishing of walls, and surface restoration.

Replacing and repairing broken windows and doors is the responsibility of the glaziers, as is the cutting and installing of mirrors.

The mason is responsible for the repair and replacement of concrete sidewalks and brick or stone masonry across the Kent Campus.
