Corporate & Foundation Relations

The Office of Corporate & Foundation Relations initiates and sustains contact with private foundations and business entities to engage interest and build relationships. The team works closely with university administrators, faculty, and staff to provide centralized communication about funding opportunities for research, interdisciplinary projects, and institutional priorities. Staff members are also available to assist faculty and staff with proposal development and strategy.

Communicate

	Serve as the University point of contact for corporations and private foundations
	Coordinate with the Office of Sponsored Programs
	Interact with corporate and foundation leadership

Centralize

	Ensure development of budgets with the Office of Sponsored Programs
	Assist faculty in working within Coeus
	Review proposal from funder perspective and ensure that guidelines fit with projects and initiatives

Develop

	Create relationships with faculty to understand their work and particular projects
	Recognize interdisciplinary opportunities
	Maintain a comprehensive relationship with the funder that looks beyond one project/proposal
