Taking the ALEKS Chemistry Placement Assessment
All students who are enrolled in General Chemistry I (CHEM 10060) are required to complete the ALEKS Chemistry Placement Assessment. Any students who do not obtain complete mastery of all ALEKS topics (either through the passing of the initial placement assessment or through subsequent remediation using the ALEKS modules) by 11:59pm on Tuesday, January 7th, 2014 (for Spring 2014 registration) will be de-registered from General Chemistry I (CHEM 10060) and General Chemistry Laboratory I (CHEM 10062; General Chemistry I is a pre/co-requisite for General Chemistry Laboratory I).
The initial placement must be completed as soon as possible after 12:01am Wednesday, November 27th (for Spring 2014 registration).

To access the ALEKS Chemistry Placement Assessment, go to the Placement Assessment Channel on your "Student Tools" tab in FlashLine. Click on the Chemistry Placement and follow the instructions.
