Carole A. Barbato is a regional campus faculty member who teaches primarily undergraduate students in the areas of public speaking, health communication, communication education, interpersonal communication, and teambuilding. As a graduate faculty member on the Kent Campus, Carole teaches the foundations course and the graduate seminar in small group communication. She has also served on numerous thesis committees. Her current research interests are in the areas of interpersonal communication motivation, small group decision-making, and communication and aging. she has co-authored a book on teambuilding, which was endorsed by the American Society for Training and Development, and has published several book chapters and journal articles.
