Commencement is a milestone for soon-to-be Kent State alumni. As they near graduation, students and faculty members have the opportunity to receive a variety of commencement honors. Honorary Degrees Find out which honorary degrees have been awarded to persons acknowledged in eminence in the arts, letters or sciences, in the professions, or in public service whose contributions are so significant that benefits are recognized and acknowledged on a state, national or international level.
President's Medals Links to a listing of faculty and administrative staff who have made outstanding contributions to the advancement of Kent State University through extraordinary and unique service.
University Medallions Lists those who have contributed significantly to the university's well-being but who would not be eligible for an honorary degree or the President's Medal. Recipients are major benefactors of the university, those who have given significantly of time, effort and/or financial support to the university, its campuses, or to one or more of its programs and activities.
