KSU's Community Relations members are continually visiting new and established businesses to build relationships and show our true interest in their success. We educate business owners on how to connect with students and the university and in doing so, a more cohesive environment between the university and community is created.

On occasion we have linked students with local businesses for internship experiences, which results in an instant connection between the university and the local companies. Through these internships, we are assisting small businesses in tough economic times and also providing opportunities for students to gain true experience of working in a company setting. We want to see our students and the city develop and prosper.
