Mileage Rates

Select the appropriate IRS Standard Automobile Mileage Rate for Business Miles Driven on the dates of travel:

  • Jan. 1, 2013 - Forward = 56.5 cents per mile
  • July 1, 2011 - Dec. 31, 2012 = 55.5 cents per mile
  • Jan. 1, 2011 - June 30, 2011 = 51.0 cents per mile
  • Jan. 1, 2010 - Dec. 31, 2010 = 50.0 cents per mile
  • Jan 1, 2009 - Dec. 31, 2009 = 55.0 cents per mile
  • July 1, 2008 - Dec. 31, 2008 = 58.5 cents per mile
  • Jan. 1, 2008 - June 30, 2008 = 50.5 cents per mile
  • Jan. 1, 2007 - Dec. 31, 2007 = 48.5 cents per mile
  • Jan. 1, 2006 - Dec. 31, 2006 = 44.5 cents per mile
  • Sept. 1, 2005 - Dec. 31, 2005 = 48.5 cents per mile
  • Jan. 1, 2005 - Aug. 31, 2005 = 40.5 cents per mile
  • Jan. 1, 2004 - Dec. 31, 2004 = 37.5 cents per mile
  • Jan. 1, 2003 - Dec. 31, 2003 = 36.0 cents per mile
  • Jan. 1, 2002 - Dec. 31, 2002 = 36.5 cents per mile
  • Jan. 1, 2001 - Dec. 31, 2001 = 34.5 cents per mile
  • Jan. 1, 2000 - Dec. 31, 2000 = 32.5 cents per mile

Select the appropriate IRS Standard Automobile Mileage Rate for Relocation Miles Driven on the dates of travel:

  • July 1, 2011 - Forward = 23.5 cents per mile
  • Jan. 1, 2011 - June 30, 2011 = 19.0 cents per mile
  • Jan. 1, 2010 - Dec. 31, 2010 = 16.5 cents per mile
  • Jan. 1, 2009 - Dec. 31, 2009 = 24.0 cents per mile
  • July 1, 2008 - Dec. 31, 2008 = 27.0 cents per mile

 Select the appropriate Fuel-Only Standard Automobile Mileage Rate for Business Miles Driven in a University or Stipend Vehicle on the dates of travel:

  • April 1, 2011 - Forward = 25.0 cents per mile
  • July 1, 2009 - March 31, 2011 = 20.0 cents per mile
