Technical Assistance Projects

The Center has recently provided Technical Assistance to the following communities and audiences:

  • Maple Heights - City Council Retreat - The Center facilitated discussion of team building, drafting of vision mission statements for the municipality, along with prioritizing goals and strategic planning for 3-5 years.
  • South Russell - Orientation for the Mayor and Council members on roles and responsibilities of elected officials in a statutory village.
  • Hosted a group from Croatia in conjunction with Cleveland State University - The group was in the U.S. seeking to learn about ways to plan and deliver certification programs to groups of local officials.
  • Gates Mills - The Center conducted a study of safety services to determine whether the village should maintain their current system or make changes to provide better service to the community.
