General Medicine

The Department of General Medicine is comprised of an overall goal of physicians providing diagnosis and treatment of the human body. Courses include:
- Physical Assessment and Diagnosis, which focuses on total body examination using the traditional processes of inspection, palpation, percussion, and auscultation
- Neurology, which is a comprehensive study of the diagnosis and treatment of the neurologic diseases
- Dermatology, the treatment and management of dermatologic disorders
- General Medicine, recognition and treatment of medical problems with organ systems such as renal, cardiovasular, musculoskeletal, endocrine, digestive, etc. and their relationship to podiatric medicine
- Behaviorial Medicine, a concentration in the area of mood and anxiety disorders, alcoholism, substance abuse, psychoses, and pain management
- Women's Health, covering the unique areas to women including pregnancy, contraception, infertility, cardiovascular, health, osteoporosis, and menopause
