Simulated Patients Center
Simulated Patients Center allows KSUCPM students to interact and interview “patients,†who are actors or volunteers, in one of several simulated clinical treatment rooms. Each room is equipped with a microphone and a camera so instructors can observe and record students’ interactions. A professor can watch an interview in one room or all the rooms from a central control room. After all students have taken a turn interviewing “patients,†the entire class can gather in a conference room to watch their performances on a 52-inch flat screen plasma TV and review and critique them.
