Provides leadership and strategic direction to CSI. Also provides oversight and management of the area of University and City relations, and serves as a liaison between these areas and other University Divisions and Departments.
Responsible for Late Night/Weekend Programming; Student Organization Alcohol, Academic and Sound Waivers; Parents’ Day; handles contract process for student organizations; advises the National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) and co-advises the Commuter Off Campus Student Organization (COSO).
Oversees Kent Student Center Programming, KSU United States Post Office and Signum Design Studio; coordinates marketing initiatives.
Provides advising and oversight to all aspects of fraternity/sorority life.
Rebecca serves as the Coordinator for Off-Campus and Commuter Services. She is responsible for connecting commuter students to Kent State University. This is done through programs throughout the year as well as advocating for the needs of commuter students.
Rebecca is a Kent State Alumni, having recieved her M.Ed in Higher Education Administration and Student Personnel in May 2011. She also has her B.S. in Child Development from Michigan State University.
Develops regular communications and trainings with student organizations and advisors. Also, provides support for the CSI and FLASHperks websites.
Responsible for oversight of University/City relations, court ordered community service and FLASHperks.
Financial liaison for student organizations, co-advises USG Allocation Committee, processes payments, maintains financial records, assists with transportation, insurance, and investigates issues with University finances and accounts.
Administratively supports the day-to-day operations of the various functional divisions of the department.
Assists with University/City relations initiatives and the FLASHperks program.
Assists with leadership development programming and Greek affairs.
