Center for Student Involvement
The mission of the Center for Student Involvement is to foster student growth and development through leadership, civic, cultural and involvement opportunities.
Getting involved on campus is one of the quickest ways to become part of the university community and create your own unique Kent State experience. The Center for Student Involvement (CSI) offers an array of resources that provide opportunities for leadership and participation in student-initiated projects and organizations.

Kent State University and the city of Kent invite organizations to participate in the university’s 2010 Homecoming Parade. The parade is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 9.

Comedy Central Star Demetri Martin to Perform at Kent State, Sept. 9
Demetri Martin will perform at Kent State University on Thursday, Sept. 9, at 8 p.m. in the Memorial Athletic and Convocation Center (MACC) as the first performer to visit Kent State this year.

Flashback to the Future
Kent State University and the city of Kent invite you/your organization to participate in the 2010 Homecoming Parade. The parade is scheduled for Saturday, October 9, 2010. This year's parade theme is Flashback to the Future. The parade will step-off at 10:00 a.m. from the Kent State University campus and will proceed west on Main Street. The parade will conclude at approximately 11:30 a.m. at the intersection of Main Street and Franklin Avenue in downtown Kent, Ohio.

Back to School Blastoff!
Back to School Blastoff is scheduled for Sunday, August 29th from 6:30pm-8:30pm on the track behind the DeWeese Health Center near the Ice Arena. Come out and learn about our other student organizations, listen to live music, play games and kick the year off with a bang. Fireworks will be set off around 9pm in the same location. Please encourage your group to join in the festivities.

Emerging Leader Program Accepting Applications
The purpose of the Emerging Leader Program (ELP) is to help students new to the concept of being a leader learn and develop/enhance their personal leadership skills. Applications are now available and due to the Center for Student Involvement by 5 p.m. on Friday, September 17, 2010.
