KSU enters NCLL

After several seasons as an independent team, the Golden Flashes re-enter the National College Lacrosse League (NCLL) for the 2015 season with high expectations. Following a disappointing 2014 season with a roster of only 14 players and only one completed game which resulted in a loss, the team has bolstered their roster, adding another 11 players and solidifying all aspects of the roster. With returners Jake Plocica, Ron Narolewski, Cody Carson and Jack Falconer leading the charge at their respective positions, the team looks to make a statement after rebuilding the organization essentially from the ground up. Head Coach Jim Roberts will man the helm in his second year as coach, his 5th with the team. Adding one of the largest freshman classes in program history, attackman Julian Pursell and defender Ramzi Akel hope to contribute to a playoff run ending in State College, PA for the NCLL tournament. With a schedule of mostly road trips, failure on the road will not bode well for the Flashes, who only host 3 games at home which will be played in Dix Stadium.
