Course Description:

A 3-credit course in Spring 2012. Kent State students as well as the general public may also participate in the trip without taking it for credit. For those enrolled in the course, there will be five trip meetings (February 3, 17; March 2, 9; April 6; 11 am-12:15pm); you will need to complete a class presentation, paper, and keep a field journal.

Itinerary:

Two nights in Tortuguero National Park (accessible only by boat);
two nights near Arenal Volcano, and two nights near Monteverde
Cloud Forest

Program Costs:

$1950 + Kent State Tuition for 3 credit hour course
