Degrees

Master's Degree

The master's degree requires a minimum of 33 graduate hours in required and elective course work approved by the State of Ohio.

Ed.S. - Specialist Degree

The Ed.S. degree is a post master's practitioner program. This is not an interim step between the master and doctoral degrees, but provides preparation for a specialty position within the field of professional education.

Ph.D. Degree

The Ph.D. is the highest degree attainable. In Educational Administration, it is a terminal degree that allows an administrative professional to move to the next level of career success.

Courses being offered for this and upcoming terms can be viewed on-line in the Registrar's Schedule of Classes, the PK-12 Educational Administration 3-year schedule, or the  PK-12 Educational Administration Course Projection links. Courses for educational administration (both PreK-12 and Higher Education) are listed under the prefix EDAD.

Choosing a Degree

If you are interested in pursing any of the above degrees, please contact one of the Educational Administration faculty members to discuss your individual situation and goals.  Master's and Educational Specialist degrees require that the student begin fall semester and follow the designated sequence of classes through completion of license and degree.  Once students have been accepted into a degree program, they will need to contact the assigned adviser to determine and file a plan of study.
