Mild/Moderate Special Educator
The Mild-Moderate educational needs program is designed to provide students with the coursework and field experiences to be licensed as a special educator in the area of Mild-Moderate Educational Needs.
The Mild-Moderate Special Education program includes coursework that is required for licensure to teach learners from ages 5 through 21, and grades K through 12 who have been identified with a disability that requires mild to moderate intervention (e.g. learning disabilities, emotional and behavioral disorders, developmental disabilities.) Please note that the Masters degree and license are distinct and separate.
