Integrated Mathematics

The Integrated Mathematics program prepares students to become mathematics teachers in grades 7–12. Students take approximately 42 hours of mathematics-content coursework during the seven semesters prior to their internship (student teaching) semester. At the end of the junior year, students take the Praxis II content exam. Students must earn a 2.75 overall GPA and a 2.6 GPA in mathematics to complete the program.

Students who successfully complete the program and pass both parts of the Praxis II exam are eligible to apply for the 7–12 license in mathematics.
