Dear Alumni and Friends,
On behalf of the faculty and staff in the College of Education, Health, and Human Services here at Kent State University, I would like to welcome you to our website and thank you for visiting. Whether you graduated last year, five years ago, fifteen years ago, or fifty years ago, you are a valued asset to our college.
As we start a new school year, I want to take a moment to highlight the forthcoming Fourth Annual College of Education, Health and Human Services Hall of Fame Awards ceremony. The Hall of Fame ceremony is the hallmark of our college as we recognize and celebrate the service, impact, and volunteerism of our alumni throughout the world. This event is part of Homecoming Weekend celebrations and will take place Friday, October 4, 2013 at 6:30 p.m. in the Kent Student Center Ballroom. We would be delighted to have you return to campus during Homecoming Weekend and to catch up with the college at this event.
I encourage you to stay connected with the university by becoming a member of the Alumni Association. Our mission is to create and advance knowledge by educating professionals who will enhance health and well-being of others while enabling learning throughout their lives. Our Advancement office can provide you with information about many of our programs and services and is a great resource for becoming involved with our mission.
Again, welcome to our website and please let us know if you have any suggestions of how we can be of help.
Daniel F. Mahony, Dean and Professor
