Introduction to iMovie

Apple's iMovie is an easy-to-use video editing software that allows users to take their home movies and projects and turn them into edited videos for tape, DVD or the web. It provides capabilities for audio editing, adding titles, graphics and transitions to any video project to give it that polished, professional look. And when you're done creating your project, iMovie makes exporting your video to DVD a snap. It can even export and upload a video to your own YouTube account!

In order to better assist you, we are providing the link to Apple's own training videos for iMovie 08, iMovie 09 and iMovie 11. These training videos will have you up and running with iMovie in no time. By covering every aspect of the process, from importing your raw video to exporting your finished project and all the stages in between, these videos will guide you step-by-step through your project. And, as always, the IRC staff is happy to help you with your iMovie needs, so if you have further questions please don't hesitate to ask.
