AT&T Classroom: Kent State University’s 21st Century Classroom
Kent State University's 21st Century Classroom Celebrates 15 Years!
The AT&T Classroom officially opened its doors on February 2, 1998. Over the past 15 years, the Classroom has hosted 143 local teachers and over 2800 students who have learned about the use of technology for teaching and learning through their experiences in this technology-rich environment, and who have taken their new understandings back to their schools.
AT&T Classroom Spring 2013
The AT&T Classroom has welcomed two new classes for the first session of the Spring 2013 semester. Our morning class is from West Main Elementary, Ravenna City Schools. Mrs. Janice Schelat and her third graders are integrating technology into a biography unit. In the afternoon, Mrs. Rebecca Miller (Echo Hills/Stow-Munroe Falls City Schools) and her 4th graders are using a variety of digital tools for math and social studies.
Each week on our website we will be sharing some of the magnificent work created by the kids visiting the classroom and the technology tools they used! Visit the 2012 - 2013 AT&T Classroom Cohort section of our website to learn more!
