2012 - 2013 Professional Advisory Board
The Spring Meeting May 8th 2012.
The Professional Advisory Board of CIIE recently held its spring 2011 meeting in The Bahamas. The Kick off dinner featured graduate alumni of the programs in Special Education, Counseling, and Educational Administration - some of the more than 200 alumni who have graduated from the unique partnership with COB and KSU.

His Excellency Carlton Wright, (right) from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of The Bahamas, and a former ambassador to Cuba, kicked off the PAB Meeting by sharing perspectives of Cuban - Bahamian relations for members of the board. The Center's founder, Gerald H. Read, wrote his dissertation on Cuban Education.
Ms. Monique Hinsey, Lyford Cay Foundation, shared with the Board the work that this forward thinking NGO does to improve the opportunities for education in The Bahamas, including providing study abroad scholarships for students.
The Honorable T. Desmond Bannister, Minister of Education of The Bahamas greeted the gathered groups of CIIE's Professional Advisory Board, College of The Bahamas faculty, and the Consortium of Overseas Student Teaching directors.
