Global Tourism & Outdoor Recreation In this course you will learn through first hand experience about important global issues such as environmental conservation and sustainable development. You will visit the source of the Nile River and several of Uganda's pristine national parks to hike, explore and search for wildlife including the endangered mountain gorilla. You will visit rural villages and meet the people there in order to examine the opportunities and challenges tourism creates. Finally, you will become an eco-tourist and thereby contribute to conservation in Uganda while experiencing the power of travel to foster personal growth and development.This course is worth up to 6 credits
