Confucius Institute Project
The Confucius Institute Project at Kent State University aims to educate students in Chinese culture and social science while promoting the development of international multiculturalism. The workshops are taught by Chinese instructors and are offered through the Cultural Foundations program.
This fall the Confucius Institute Project will offer two China Today workshops, each of which is introductory:
China Today I: Culture and Land
Experience what the enduring culture of China has to offer the world: folk and high culture, festivals, calligraphy, philosophies and Feng-Shui. We will provide many resources for use in your classroom.

China Today II: Its Society and Government
Learn about the people of China, the organization of their world and history, the "gilded age or gilded cage," and prosperity and anxiety in the new China. We will provide many resources for use in your classroom.
