PhD

Overview

The doctoral program is a 60 credit hour program (plus dissertation hours) that seeks to prepare professionals who have the theoretical knowledge base and application skills for a number of different professional opportunities. Students of the program will develop the skills to conceptualize, design, evaluate and teach a wide variety of research methodologies. They are taught how to communicate effectively with educators and other professionals in the development and application of research and psychometric materials, and develop and evaluate programs and follow through with written reports.

Graduates of the program have progressed to become professors, research and evaluation specialists for school districts, and consultants for state and national organizations.
