The Club Managers Association of America's (CMAA) KSU chapter welcomes all students interested in professional positions with country clubs, city clubs and more. Student members attend the World CMAA Conference, the National CMAA Conference and tour area clubs.
The Kent State University chapter of Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA) is open to all Kent State University students interested in pursuing a career in the growing meeting and event planning industry. Students participate in various fundraising events; go on tours of hotels, conference and convention centers; listen to industry leaders; and attend the annual convention that provides networking and career opportunities.
CKP is a national organization that provides healthy meals to those in need by harnessing the spirit of student volunteerism within local communities. Now in its ninth year, CKP operates on over 30 university and high school campuses.
The Ice Carving Club is open to all students interested in developing their ice carving talents regardless of their current skill level. Established in 2000, club activities are lead by student officers and a faculty advisor. Club membership fees cover the cost of the ice, equipment, and other associated expenses.
