Program

The Integrated Social Studies program prepares prospective teachers to teach all social studies classes, grades 7-12. If recommended for licensure, a teacher will be licensed to teach any social studies class in Ohio in 7th-12th grades.

This page provides information and links to information that may be helpful for you. This page is not intended to replace the advice of a program counselor or your faculty advisor. Meet regularly (at least once a year) with a program counselor in the Office of Student Services (306 White Hall) during your academic career. If you have specific questions about courses or are entering in advanced study you can also meet regularly with your faculty advisor.

  •        Praxis II and licensure information- You will need to take a specialty area test and the PLT for grades 7-12. Go to this link or visit the Office of Student Services (306 White Hall) for more information.
