Graduation Applications
Students who are nearing completion of their course work are required to apply for graduation by filling out an application for graduation and submitting the form to the Office of Graduate Student Services by the posted deadlines . There are three graduation ceremonies each year (August, December, May) and the deadlines are posted below.

Important Graduate Dates for Spring 2013
April 12 Deadline to:
· Submit dissertation electronically
· Submit thesis electronically
· Submit signature pages to 409 White Hall
April 20 Deadline for graduate level students graduating in May 2013 to have all incomplete grades from previous semesters cleared
May 1 Final deadline for all dissertation corrections
May 5 Classes end
May 6-12 Final Exam Week
May 10-11 Graduate School of EHHS commencement ceremony
Week of July 8, 2013 - Spring 2013 diplomas mailed to students at permanent addresses.
Important Graduate Dates for Summer 2013
May 20 Intersessions begin
June 10 Summer I and II classes begin
June 14 Last day for those hoping to graduate August 2013 to file for approved dissertation or thesis proposal
June 14 Deadline to apply for graduate level August 2013 graduation
July 3 Final date for oral defense of graduation level dissertation of thesis
July 15 Summer III classes begins
July 19 Deadline to:
July 26 All incomplete grades from previous semesters must be cleared- Submit dissertation electronically only
- Submit thesis electronically or in paper form
- Submit signature pages to 409 White Hall
August 9 Final Deadline for all dissertation corrections
August 17 Commencement
Students who submit a graduation application after the posted deadline will be subject to a $200.00 non-refundable late processing fee upon acceptance of the application.
Applying for graduation can be done in a number of ways.
1) Apply in person in the Office of Graduate Student Services, 418 White Hall
