Autism Certificate
PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The 21 credit hour program is designed to equip participants with the skills required to understand the theoretical conceptualizations of ASD, develop evidence-based lifespan intervention programs, collaborate successfully as a member of intervention teams, support individuals with ASD being served within general education contexts, and effectively address the needs of families. The program is geared towards professionals in the fields of education, special education, speech-language pathology, psychology and other education, health and human services fields who are involved in the education, assessment, and/or treatment of individuals with ASD and their families.

Additional Capstone Experience after Coursework is Completed
PROSPECTIVE STUDENTS
Anyone who has earned a baccalaureate degree from an accredited university with a GPA of 2.75 or higher, and successfully meets application requirements.
2013-2014 Online Autism Cohort
This Online Autism cohort is slated to begin Fall of 2013. Generally, two courses are offered per semester, allowing the program to be completed in approximately one year.
