PROGRAM OVERVIEW

This program is designed to enable educators to obtain an Ohio Endorsement for Gifted Education, and is the perfect cornerstone to continue for a Master's Degree in Educational Psychology, completing an additional 15 hours of coursework.

OFF-CAMPUS COHORTS
Kent State University works in partnership with school districts to facilitate off-campus professional development programming for educators in the field. Off-campus cohorts offer reduced graduate tuition of courses instructed at a convenient location within the district. Generally, two courses are offered per term, allowing the Gifted Education Endorsement to be completed in approximately one year.
WESTLAKE CITY SCHOOLS COHORT DETAILS
Courses for the Westlake Gifted Endorsement Cohort will tentatively begin in the Fall of 2012, at a convenient location in the Westlake City School Disstrict (TBA). The 18 credit hour program will be offered at the discounted tuition rate of $326 per graduate credit hour. Generally, two courses are offered per semester, allowing the program to be completed in approximately one year.
