The College of Education Health and Human Services offers an Autism Spectrum Intervention Specialists Certificate (ASISC). It is offered via OnLine or Hybrid delivery and takes 18 months to complete at 2 courses per semester. The curriculum provides a broad based multidisciplinary understanding and application of research based practices. Applicants must have a minimum of an undergraduate degree in special education, speech-pathology/audiology, psychology, or another health and human services related field, and work closely with individuals with ASD and their families. This is a joint program offered by speech language pathology and special education and facilitated by Drs. Lisa Audet and Sloane Burgess. Dr. Burgess advises students within the certificate program.
