The Moderate-Intensive Special Education program is designed to provide students with the coursework and field experiences necessary to be licensed as an Intervention Specialist in the area of moderate-intensive educational needs.
The Moderate-Intensive educational needs intervention license is valid for teaching learners from ages 5 through 21, and grades K through 12 who have been identified with a disability that requires moderate to intensive intervention (e.g. developmental disabilities, multiple disabilities). Please note that the Masters degree and license are distinct and separate.
