The Sport and Recreation Management master's program provides students with a knowledge base in management theory and application in both sport and recreation settings. Graduates of the program are prepared for administrative and coordinative positions in sport and recreation, as well as a variety of other positions in the field.

The Sport and Recreation Management program provides students with the knowledge, skills and experiences that will enable each individual to become successful professionals in the field of sport and recreation management.
In conjunction with their advisor, the student will develop a program of study, using the available electives, which will help them to meet their educational and professional goals.
This program also requires a culminating experience: an internship, research project or thesis.
