Curriculum and Instruction

The Curriculum & Instruction (C&I) program offers advanced study in the areas of theory, research, development, application, and evaluation. Our Master of Education (M.Ed.) program prepares students to obtain a teaching license. Our Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) prepares students to take positions as school teachers, and the Doctor of Philosophy program prepares students for a wide range of possibilities in higher education employment.

The Curriculum & Instruction Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree is a professional development degree that strives to enhance each student's career aspirations, which are frequently tied to a future employment objective.
The C&I M.Ed. is organized into seven concentrations: Curriculum & Teaching, English/Language Arts, Mathematics, Middle Childhood, Physical Education, Science, and Social Studies.
