The Curriculum & Instruction (C&I) program offers advanced study in the areas of theory, research, development, application, and evaluation. Our Master of Education (M.Ed.) program prepares students to obtain a teaching license. Our Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) prepares students to take positions as school teachers, and the Doctor of Philosophy program prepares students for a wide range of possibilities in higher education employment.
The Curriculum and Instruction faculty offer five master's degree programs in a wide range of professional specializations and concentration:
An Ed.S. degree in education is available in curriculum, instruction and educational administration. Ed.S. degree programs are composed of general core courses, professional education courses, liberal education electives, and a supervised internship.
The Curriculum and Instruction program offers the Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree to qualified students interested in issues related to educational curriculum and instruction.
