There will be several sessions on Tuesday, Aug. 14, and Thursday, Aug. 16, at various locations on the Kent Campus. On Aug. 16, two of the seminars will be available through a live web Web stream for staff at other Kent State locations. Details on the times and locations of all the sessions is are posted online at www.kent.edu/hr/benefits/announcements-in-benefits.cfm.
Please note that these are not retirement planning meetings. The purpose of the sessions is to review the details and implications of pending legislation in the Ohio House of Representatives that would make changes to the current OPERS retirement system; and to gather stakeholder feedback on proposed changes to health care coverage that OPERS is considering.
