HR Question of the Week: Will Kent State conduct another child car seat safety inspection this fall?

The Division of Human Resources is pleased to co-host its second child car seat safety inspection of 2016 on Tuesday, Nov. 8, from 3-6 p.m. at Kent State University’s Child Development Center, located at 775 Loop Road in Kent.

Four out of five car seats are installed incorrectly. Keep your child safe by making sure your child’s car seat is properly installed. If you have more than one car seat or base, feel free to have them each inspected.

Certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians from the Portage County Health Department will conduct child car seat inspections. Kent State Police Department representatives also will be on hand to answer any safety-related questions you may have. Additionally, there will be a small health fair with representatives from local health and wellness service providers.

We encourage you to reserve your appointment here today! Individuals without an appointment will be accommodated as time permits on a first-come, first-serve basis.

For questions, please contact Kim Hauge, manager of employee wellness, at 330-672-7505 or wellness@kent.edu.
