Kent State University Bookstore Announces Annual Holiday Giving Tree Program

The Kent State University Bookstore has announced its fourth annual Holiday Giving Tree Program. A tree is set up at the entrance to University Bookstore located in the Kent Student Center. Each ornament on the tree represents a boy or girl who is living in transitional housing in Portage County. The bookstore would like to bring a bit of holiday cheer to each child with a gift of a book.

If you would like to be a part of this initiative, simply select a child’s ornament. Each ornament has a number on the back that correlates with a book that interests the child. The books are displayed next to the tree.

The tree will be displayed until Dec. 19. If you have questions, contact Nikki at 330-672-1594. Please stop in and give the gift of reading to a child.
