A special award program administered through the Division of Enrollment Management and Student Affairs (EMSA) to recognize our employees who provide exemplary service to Kent State University, its students, internal and/or external constituents of the Division of Enrollment Management and Student Affairs, or whose efforts enhance the focus of the Division's mission.

The President's Excellence Award recognizes Kent State University staff who have demonstrated exceptional performance in advancing one of the goals of the university's excellence agenda .  Please visit the President's Excellence Award website to submit your nominations during the designated nomination period.

The Lifetime Achievement Award was instituted in 2011 to honor individuals who have devoted significant time and energies in the division and whose actions bring to life the mission of the division.  Retirees of the division can be nominated by anyone in EMSA.  The retiree may be from any department currently in the division or was in the division in the past (e.g.. New Employee Welcome Program (EMSA - NEW)

Instituted in Fall 2012, The Enrollment Management and Student Affairs New Employee Welcome program (EMSA-NEW) is designed to welcome new full time emploees and graduate students to our division.  The program will include a welcoming meeting, opportunities for professional development, and the opportunity to have an EMSA  buddy to help orient you to our large and diverse division.
