Campus Kitchen Project: Nutrition Outreach

Mission Statement:

CKPNO is a program dedicated to bringing free quality nutrition education to families in the Portage County area provided by Kent State’s Nutrition Outreach team.

This project combines the help of volunteers from a wide variety of educational backgrounds and graduate nutrition students.

We aim to help families and individuals who are considered to be lower socioeconomic status feel empowered to create delicious and nutritious meals on a budget.

The ultimate goal of this program is to defer families from over-consuming convenience foods.
