English Undergraduate Studies Center
Established in the summer of 2001 with help from a grant awarded by the College of Undergraduate Studies, the English Undergraduate Studies Center (EUSC) in 204 Satterfield Hall assists current majors as well as students who are considering an English major or minor with personal advising by faculty.
In the EUSC, students who come in close contact with individual faculty members working in English studies are able to understand requirements better and also learn more effectively.
Students may also subscribe to the ENGMAJ listserv, where the EUSC regularly posts announcements and other information for majors and minors.
Resources available through the EUSC:
- Advising;
- Awards & Scholarships;
- ENGMAJ@listserv.kent.edu, a listserv about activities and opportunities for majors and minors
(subscribe by sending e-mail message "SUB ENGMAJ your name" to listserv@listserv.kent.edu); - Reference book collection;
- Study tables.
