Poetry Writing I

English 30069 provides practice in advanced writing of poetry, with specific models and critical discussion of student work on a weekly basis. This course may be used in partial fulfillment of the Writing and Language Studies requirement in the English Major and in partial fulfillment of the Writing Minor. 

Prerequisites: Completion Eng 21011 College Writing I (or equivalent) and Eng 20021 Introduction to Creative Writing. Other requirements vary by section: check the Schedule of Classes for other prerequisites.
