My teaching interests are working with basic writers, and my research interests are writing center theory and practice, literacy (specifically, the various literacies students bring to academia), and activity theory. I also enjoy poetry, long walks on the beach, and poking dead things with a stick.  (And I have an oft-misunderstood sense of humor.)
