While I enjoy teaching college writing, both my teaching and research interests are centered on Victorian literature.  In particular, the works of the Brontë sisters (Charlotte, Emily, and Anne) and how each of their novels serves as a healing means of bearing witness to the trauma of the central characters, thereby breaking their unconscious cycle of repetition of traumatic events.
