Don-John Dugas

Associate Professor
Don-John Dugas is an Associate Professor of English and a Fellow of the Institute for Bibliography and Editing. Although a specialist in Shakespeare, Tudor and Stuart drama, theater history, and the history of the book, his wide-ranging research interests have led to publication on the likes of Chaucer, Spenser, and Milton. His book, Marketing the Bard: Shakespeare in Performance and Print, 1660–1740, was published by the University of Missouri Press. A passionate teacher, Dugas has won several teaching awards at Kent State University, including the Honors College’s Distinguished Honors Faculty Award, the College of Arts Science’s Distinguished Teacher Award, and the Department of English’s Distinguished Undergraduate Mentor Award.
