Reading/Working Groups
The Department of English is host to three Reading/Working Groups where faculty and graduate students from across Kent State University gather to read, discuss, exchange ideas, and participate in projects focused on the following areas of interdisciplinary inquiry:
DHRWG stands for Kent State University Digital Humanities Reading and Working Group, an interdisciplinary faculty and graduate student (and anyone interested!) reading and working group.
The Neurosciences and the Humanities
The Kent State University Neuroscience and the Humanities Workgroup discusses, investigates, and promotes interdisciplinary approaches to research and teaching.
The Transnational Studies Reading and Working Group (TSRWG) facilitates scholarly exchange between faculty members of our Department of English and those of other departments on the history, directions, and potentials of the field of transnational studies.
