Faculty Workshops

Where the workshop comes to you!

Faculty workshops are engaging experiences for you and colleagues to define, plan, and achieve your learning outcomes in your unit and for the University. All workshops are customized to meet your unit's outcomes and student needs, utilizing talents and resources within it.  Facilitation is provided by Jeffrey Pellegrino, who can also incorporate your unit's leadership.

Do you want a specific workshop presented to your unit?
  1. Identify the skills or concepts you want your unit to learn.
  2. Email fpdc@kent.edu, and inform us of your unit's desired outcomes.
  3. We'll help to research methodology, coordinate a presentation/demonstration, and assist with pedagogical challenges specific to your unit's situation.

In addition to special faculty workshops, we also offer a series of workshops open to any KSU faculty member.  These programs address anything from pedagogical applications of technology to psychological conditions related to learning.  Click here to see a full list of the workshops offered this semester.
