Technology Tools

Using technology can be a daunting task as it continues to improve and offer new ways of communicating and reflecting, ideally leading toward learning. What program should I use? How much will it cost? Is there a help manual available? How do I even use this technology, anyway? These are all questions that beginners and experts ask themselves when trying to access websites and try new tech based products. This site can help you prepare for not losing learning time on snow days (or pandemic flu) and its content can also be used for teaching in large or small groups.

For every product there are benefits and challenges, just like there is no perfect student or lesson. Our advice, take a step forward; you don't have to commit yourself to something for a long time. As you learn how different tools work you will learn the language and understand more of what you and your students can gain from future steps forward. The FPDC will walk with you through deciphering and exploring programs in context of your student learning outcomes or research goals. Feel free to view any of the tools. If there are any tools you use that are not viewed here, please feel free to submit them to us!
