Online Storage Tools
Google Drive:
Google Drive is everywhere you are—on the web, in your home, at the office and on the go. So wherever you are, your stuff is just...there. Ready to go, ready to share. Google Drive is cloud computing and is available to anyone with a Google email account. Google Drive also allows for collaboration and commenting throughout documents. Documents and images can be created or uploaded from your computer to Google Drive.
Dropbox:
Dropbox is a free service that lets you bring your photos, docs, and videos anywhere and share them easily. Dropbox has free and paid options with the ability to always add storage space. Dropbox is available on personal computers as well as most mobile devices and can sync information and files across multiple platforms.
KSUDropbox:
KSUDropbox is Kent State’s version of Dropbox. This tool allows for individual folders for personal storage or folders to be shared with others. The created dropbox folder will publish a URL, allowing for this folder to be shared in BlackBoard Learn or even publish to a website. The folders created can be password protected or public for anyone with the link to view.
