Camtasia:

Camtasia is a screen-capturing tool that allows for one to capture whatever is displayed on their desktop and record over it. Narrations, sound effects, and titles can be included. There is a 30-day free trial for Camtasia that works for both Mac and PC. Once a Camtasia project is created and edited, it can then be exported as a video file.

Windows Movie Maker:

Windows Movie Maker is a tool that is on computers with a Windows operating system. Windows Movie Maker allows for edits to be made to a recorded movie and also allows for titles, additional effects and audio overlap.

iMovie:

iMovie is a tool for Mac users. This is a basic movie editing software that allows for videos to be sliced, trimmed, and added effects. This allows for a more modern design through the video editing process with design inspired templates.

Youtube:

Youtube is a video database that stores millions of video clips. This database can be searched for specific clips or can just be used for fun. You can create a Youtube account or search videos without an account.

KSUtube:

KSUtube is Kent State’s version of Youtube. You can upload a video that you have created and password protect it so only certain people can view it. It can also be embedded or linked into a Blackboard Learn course.
