The Geauga County Township Association will hold its Annual Scholarship Breakfast Fundraiser on Friday February 26, 2016 at 7:30 a.m.  “The GCTA members are very proud and honored to be able to offer this scholarship opportunity to select deserving students in Geauga County.  We plan to grow this scholarship fund during the upcoming years to a level which allows it to self-sustain for the benefit of future generations.” said Jim Dvorak, President of the Geauga County Township Association and Burton Township Trustee.  Kent State University Director of Advancement, Dave Day is coordinating the financial aspects of the scholarship and will work with the Geauga County Township Association committee to encourage and promote matching funds from county residents and businesses.

The scholarship was formed in late 2013 providing scholarships to Geauga County students over the last two years.  The scholarship is administered by Kent State University in conjunction with the Geauga County Township Association’s scholarship committee guidelines and is made available to graduating Geauga County High School seniors wishing to attend the Kent State University Geauga Campus and Regional Academic Center.
